Huge Thanks for Festival Funding
In March 2010 Pilton Festival received very generous funding of £1,000 from the Barnstaple Town Councillors for Pilton Ward to assist the running and ensure the continuity of the Festival. Presenting the cheque to Albert Linacre (centre) and Co-ordinator Gareth Woolway (right) on 13 March were (from left to right) Councillors Ian Roome, Val Elkins, Bruce Vernon and Jeremy Phillips.
After a difficult year in 2009, when the Committee had to use up its reserves, the 2010 was able to go ahead and was probably the most successful yet.
